Hawaii artist and designer, Lauren Roth, has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Her artwork is a unique combination of watercolor, acrylic, ink, and paint markers. Dreamy colors and organic shapes, layered on textured surfaces, invite the viewer to explore her intricate interpretations of life, where one quickly discovers the labor of love Lauren puts into each piece she creates. The places she has lived and traveled hold a heavy influence on her work, as does the breathtaking scenery in her everyday surroundings. Although art is her passion, Lauren finds the most joy in making people smile through her work and constantly meeting incredible people along the way.
Lauren Roth wears many hats as a designer, painter, illustrator and small-business owner. A former artist for Whole Foods, she received her BFA in illustration and art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has called Hawai‘i home for almost 10 years. In the decade that she’s been here, Roth has worked with big names, showcased her work at countless shows, and has been recognized by the creative community for her achievements and collaborations. She’s created custom designs for Nordstrom Ala Moana, Ari South, Fighting Eel and Jake Shimabukuro to name a few. And her art makes great omiyage for visiting friends or a beautiful present for that special someone on your holiday shopping list!
