My youngest son is a big fan of Charly Garcia, perhaps the most influential rockstar from Argentina, so I started listening to Charly again after a few decades and I found a song on Spotify named “the machine to be happy”. This title sent my thoughts to what I believe is the ultimate happiness tool; the Surfboard. Where will we be without our boards? Through the worst times in my life, the only thing that helped to put things into perspective was to isolate myself in the water, surfing sort of helped me clear my thoughts and every session got me smiling again. Anyway this is the first painting that I am finishing under this #covid19 quarantine.
